Aidoo connects to a Mitsubishi Electric Mr. Slim / M. Series / CityMulti air conditioner and offers control of the air conditioner via the Aidoo App (available for iOS and Android). It allows you to set the desired temperature, reports the ambient temperature of the room and weather information for the location you are in (subject to location and updated external information). It also allows you to adjust the ventilation speed and control the orientation of the unit’s louvers. Communications between Aidoo and the air conditioner are guaranteed as the connection to the air conditioner is via cable, not infrared. It connects via Wi-Fi and in this version the association between Aidoo and the router is even simpler (with the help of the phone’s Bluetooth). Aidoo is powered from the air conditioning machine itself so no external power supply is required. The Aidoo App is multi-user so you can download it to multiple mobiles (or Tablets) and have everyone have access to control your Aidoo. For example, you could have the Aidoo App on your personal mobile, your work mobile and other people’s mobiles in the house to control the same Aidoo, which could be the air conditioning unit in the living room. The Aidoo App also allows you to control multiple Aidoo devices and organise them into control groups. For example, the “Office” control group if you have several Aidoos in the office or the “Home” control group for the Aidoos you have at home. Certified Alexa and Google Home compatibility, integration is straightforward and within seconds.
